CoachesGurcharan Singh during his dedicated coaching career spanning over four decades, has groomed a number of Indian cricketers who have gone to represent the country successfully in international matches.

Gurcharan Singh, probably, has the rare distinction to be the only coach in the world to have coached 12 international cricketers and more than a hundred national cricketers, which is a living testimony to his life-long mission of upholding the cause of Indian cricket. He has produced following players who have gone and represented the country.

His sincere advisory efforts to promote cricket in corporate sector has been instrumental in enhancing the much-required corporate support for bringing up young Indian cricketing talents, right from grass-roots. Gurcharan Singh has held a number of responsible positions in institutional framework of Indian cricket, and has been responsible for many systemic changes that have brought a facelift to Indian cricket.

His enduring contribution to Indian cricket coaching has been recognized at the highest level. He has been adorned with prestigious ‘Dronacharya Award’ in 1987, in recognition of his enduring contributions to Indian cricket coaching and his role in continuously guiding all his protégées, in fact nearly a generation of them, to scale new highs, taking Indian cricket to the most competitive level in the world.

Gursharan Singh
Coaches A very classy cricketer, a respected & knowledgeable coach and administrator, a very fine human being, Gursharan played for India in Test and one Day Team in the year in 1990.

He has also played 87 Ranji Trophy matches during his 16 years of first class career. Gush is a qualified BCCI Level 1 & Level 2 coach who has a vast experience of coaching to all age groups. Gursharan also lead Punjab Ranji Trophy Team in their maiden Ranji Trophy victory.

He has been active in coaching and selection in junior and senior state and Zonal level in DDCA.

Pradeep Jain (Senior Part time coach)
CoachesOne of the best slow left arm orthodox spinner, who played first class cricket for 17 long years for Delhi and Haryana. Pradeep has played 93 first class matches and has 348 wickets and many useful scores to his credit. His ability to interact with all age groups have been a feature along with is keenness for one to one coaching.

His knowledge and experience from within the game has been built from a career playing alongside some of the top cricketers of India, Pradeep brings with him an abundance of experience of cricket at the highest level. His career has taken him around the cricketing world competing against some of the best players in the world.

Pradeep still plays recreational cricket for NSCC Club and is heavily involved in coaching and in selection panels in various teams in state teams throughout the year.

Ravikant Sharma (Part time coach)
CoachesA Level III coach from United Kingdom Cricket Coaching Certificate, Ravi has been a first class player himself as a wicket keeper and an opening batsman with an average above 50. A professional coach with Northumberland Cricket Board, Stocksfield Cricket Club, and was also involved in the “Chance to shine”, a scheme backed by UK Government to encourage children in schools to play cricket in conjunction with the English Cricket Board (ECB).

His experience of cricket has been dictated by many years of coaching at different levels in clubs in India and UK (both elementary and secondary), County school squads and Northumberland Women Cricket Team.

The vast experience, he has gained over the last 20 years has led him to have full understanding of the game. He understands the need for physical fitness, structured pre-match warm ups, post match cool downs and a good training regime. Ravi utilizes every opportunity to emphasis the importance of physical fitness to the juniors.

He believes that possible efforts should be done to give every individual the chance to improve by identifying any issues they need to work on, and how they think, can actually address the issues.

Sonu Vaid (Sr. Coach)
CoachesSonu played almost every level of competitive cricket and first class cricket from Haryana as a left arm spinner and middle over batsman. He looks after senior age group of under 23. Sonu also plays all DDCA league and local tournament matches with the team. His high performances with ball and bat still motivate the players. He is an asset to DCF.

Amandeep Singh (Physical Trainer cum Coach)
Coaches A hard working and committed coach, working with DCF Juniors and sub-juniors and (8 to 12 years) for last 5 years. His role is one of the most challenging as it is at this age when a kid learns the basics of the game which is so crucial for any form of the game. Amandeep Singh has played for under 23 Delhi State as a middle order batsman and a right arm ff spin. Amandeep believes that at this age boys can only learn with fun. Amandeep is also currently the captain of the Delhi Blues Cricket Club team.

Narinder Kumar (Sr. Coach)
CoachesNarinder has represented Haryana in all levels of the game including Ranji Trophy. He has been with the DCF since 2010. He has taken over the role as the most respected and lovable Coach. Over the past four years he has provided DCF a more professional and structured approach. This has enabled the coaching mixed with extensive physical training and mentoring. This has bought a more challenging, professional program for players to be involved in.

Narinder has been a High Performance Coach for 4 years having been helping the teams to play in the tournaments home and away. He is coach cum mentor of the most crucial age group 12 to 15. He has coached successfully to win tournaments at Patiala and other local tournaments.

Rajesh Kumar (Coach)
CoachesRajesh has represented university level cricket in 1989-90. An excellent coach and friend for sub-junior group. At this age boys need are kept away from the cricket ball to avoid any injury but at the same time skills development programme in a group environment starts at this age, with the emphasis on enjoyment, for juniors wishing to develop all aspects of their game.
